Terms of Service — Bambuddy Browser Import

These terms apply to the Bambuddy Browser Import browser extension (“the extension”), published by rojosinalma (“the author”) at https://github.com/rojosinalma/bambuddy-browser-import. By installing or using the extension you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

1. What the extension does

The extension lets you send MakerWorld print profiles to a Bambuddy server that you operate. It has no service of its own: every action runs in your browser and talks only to your Bambuddy server and to the MakerWorld pages you are viewing. See the Privacy Policy for what data is handled and where it goes.

2. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the Bambuddy server you connect the extension to, including its security, the API key you create for it, and any content stored on it.
• Content you import from MakerWorld remains subject to MakerWorld’s terms and to the license each model’s author has chosen. The extension does not grant you any rights to that content.
• You must not use the extension to circumvent access controls, rate limits or licensing on MakerWorld, Bambu Lab services or any other third party.

3. Third-party services

The extension interacts with makerworld.com (operated by Bambu Lab) and with Bambuddy (an independent open-source project). The author is not affiliated with Bambu Lab, MakerWorld or the Bambuddy project and is not responsible for their availability, changes to their interfaces, or their terms. Changes on their side may cause the extension to stop working.

4. Open source license

The extension’s source code is released under the MIT License (see LICENSE). Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by that license.

5. Disclaimer of warranty

The extension is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The author does not warrant that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future versions of your browser, MakerWorld or Bambuddy.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, prints, filament, revenue or profits, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the extension, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Updates and changes

The extension may update automatically through the browser’s extension store. The author may change or discontinue the extension, or these terms, at any time. The current terms are always the version in the repository linked above; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
